Hi,

What exactly does the Djuggler software? I noticed you can use it for web scraping and creating web harvesters. But it looks more like ETL software.

I am confused. I am looking for a tool to build a web scraper and there are many out there so I want to spend my money on the best tool available.

Hello Sedan,

Djuggler is an advanced tool for creating web scrapers or web spiders that will take data from the web, manipulate it like an ETL tool with data validation and fuzzy matching for example and then store it in Excel or directly in a data warehouse.

That is also what makes Djuggler different from other web scraping software. It's not a point and click tool for just getting data of the Internet. It's more a easy to use development environment to build screen scrapers that can directly integrate with a back-end solution.

Djuggler is typically used when a completely automated system is needed for integrating web data with existing data or advanced web scraping with dynamic pages based on AJAX or flash object.

Hope this helps.
