Hello

A few things I would like to see implemented in a future version:

An option to include writing and extracting meta-data to and from the 'Summary' tab of a file's property within the 'Get File Information' action. This could be very handy for file specific searches and sorting.

A multi-field input box and/or radio button option - so that data entered into input fields can be linked to multiple variables that can be set or validated against in one operation, - this could accompany a new AND (&&) boolean operator very nicely!

A GUI progress bar action linked to number variable(s}. integer, % etc.

BTW - Great software.

Thanks for your suggestions, we greatly appreciate it. We have already had very good suggestions from our users.

About your input box: we have included an action called Advanced HTML Dialog. You can use this to present the user with a (HTML) form, containing input boxes, radio buttons drop-down or whatever. Djuggler will catch the user's response (POST vars) and translate this to a List variable.

Check out the help for the action, and also see the action example script there. I'm sure what you want to accomplish can be done with this action.

Kind regards,

Hi, You can collect the summary info using a command line utility.
For example: http://www.download3000.com/downloa...26814.html

There is an example in demo's doing exactly the same for mp3 meta info. Example 27.

As a more general remark, functionality that is missing in Djuggler can be accessed using a DOS command line application that will do the trick for you. See it as sort of a plug in. Use the Pipe DOS Application action to call the program and catch the output for further parsing in Djuggler.
