Hi,

In earlier versions on Djuggler it was possible to set number variables to empty, this will generate an error in 3.x versions.

Any chance of making this possible again? (it still works for text variables)

Thanks,

Jakob

Hi Jakob,

One of the improvements of version 3; it sees numbers as real numbers, which also implicates a number variable should have a content like 0 for empty.

Could you give us an example how you would use is as empty?

Hi,

The way I used this was to clear out variables for each pass in a loop etc, to avoid stale assignments of variables.

I can of course devise work-arounds for this (setting a number variable to "-1" when a positive number is expected or something like that), but 'nothing' had the benefit of never evaluating to a number.

But I'm ok with it, I will just have to adopt a different method.

Thanks,

Jakob
