It would be great if in the next version there was a version of "strip HTML tags" that did not remove line breaks (converted <br/> tags into \r\n for example) and handled <p> tags. Right now, to workaround this, in the trial version I am testing I had to use DJuggler to call an external program to convert my HTML to text in the way I want it formatted (which is a hack).

I understand that if I was opening the page using IE source that I could perhaps get different results but I dont want to mess with this since developing scripts in this way becomes more difficult.

Thank you-- please include a version of strip HTML tags that retains the line breaks in text.

Hi,
The strip HTML tags simply removes all the tags. It is not a format action.
I think you suggest a new action typically called HTML to Text only.

We will put that on the development list.

For the mean time please find the script htmltotext.djs in the community support forum, that uses the Replace Text action to convert <p> and <br> before the strip HTML tags.
