Using the 'text to HTML' conversion within the 'Convert Text' action in converting an apostrophe I get different results depending on the viewing browser.

In Internet Explorer ' is not converted. In Firefox and Chrome, it converts correctly. Substituting $apos; with ' converts correctly across all three browsers. I'm using Djuggler Enterprise 3.2.1.

.....I forgot that depending on your browser, the code I entered above would be converted to an apostrophe - except for the error I made using a $ sign instead of an ampersand. I don't know how to display the text as a literal sequence without the browser doing a conversion, but the sequence in symbols: 'ampersand, hash, 39,semicolon' successfully translate to an apostrophe across all three browsers.

Hello Tom,

Can you be a little bit more specific on your question.
Note that Djuggler uses the Internet Explorer engine when web scraping.
Chrome and Firefox are not relevant for Djuggler.

Process a html file using the 'text to HTML' option in the 'Convert Text' action that includes an apostrophe and view the page in Internet Explorer. The apostrophe is not correctly converted to ' but instead displays the html entity escape code. I've tried this on IE version 5 and 8 browsers.

Here's a link to explain:
