Hi.

I'm using Djuggler Enterprise 3.0.5 trial version. The problem is that when I run the 'Loop Text File Lines' action, I get inconsistent results.

Viewing the results of the action through the 'Variables and Sources' window pane, I notice that the text file is not always loading data from the beginning (first line)- which is what I'm assuming it is supposed to do. However It seems that it will often do this on the second attempt, but even this is not always the case.

The text file is basic html, with not too much data to process (no javascript). It is running from my local hard drive, I have plenty of RAM. Having the text viewer window open or closed makes no difference.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tom

....if it helps to troubleshoot the problem, I might add that I've preceded the text lines loop action by some other actions that open the same text file and replace certain data within it using a combination of regex, copy between and replace in source actions.....Tom

Hello Tom,
I think we need to see your script to determine what is going wrong.
Could you post or mail it to us using the support form?

Thanks,
DS

Thanks for the reply DS

I seem to have solved the problem. The problem may have been that I was accessing the same text file in two successive text line loops (unecessarily). By just using one, it seems to have fixed the issue.

BTW. Is there an Undo in Djuggler? If there is, its sure not obvious.

Hello Tom,

Glad you figured it out.
Unfortunately there is no undo.
It's is already on the wish list.
Regards,
DS
