Hi Tijn,

I was just doing some manual data migration and was thinking that Djuggler probably could do it for me as usual, but I don't know where to start.

I want to match data lines between two files that have "exact or fuzzy" matches in the first column only.

So say I'm merging a list of search engines name and their website addresses along with my master list which also contains some extra info.

There will be lots of conflicting info, which I need to manually validate, but I would like to compare then on the same line.

The first will be possible additions / corrections.

Running the macro would merge this checklist

Yahoo!,yahoo.ca,
Search Google,
Altavista.com,www.altavista.com
MSN,msn.com
Bing,bing.com

and the second, a masterlist

Yahoo, yahoo.com, stats,stats2,stats3
Google, google.com,, stats, stats2, stats3
Altavista, altavista.com, stats, stats2, stats3
Ask.com,ask.com, stats, stats2, stats3

Running the macro would merge the data as best it could, while exporting the combined data to a new masterlist file.

mastername, checkname, masterwebsite, checkwebsite, stats, stats2, stats3

Yahoo, Yahoo!, yahoo.com, yahoo.ca, stats...
Google, Search Google, google.com, , stats...
Altavista, Altavista.com, altavista.com, www.altavista.com, stats...
NEW , MSN, NEW, msn.com, stats...
NEW , Bing, NEW, bing.com, stats...

I think you have to experiment a little bit with the fuzzy actions in Djuggler.
Take a look at the action examples for each fuzzy action. That should get you started.
